I do not think I have posted this here yet. I was answering a question in a Yahoo Group about sound for the Shay. One fellow is going to remove the on board Tsunami and install a full featured Tsunami because the on board version does not have the equalizer CV's. The lack of the equalizer does bother some users.

Bruce uses the 1000 and a larger speaker in the tender. SoundTraxx recommends the 750 but some find the 750 sensitive to overheating. Some bond a piece of aluminum to the bottom of the 750 decoder where the internal heat sink is mounted.
Would work for the ON30 Shay and the new Climax.
