New Porter Operation on DC

Mr. Bach-Man,

I have looked on both the Bachmann and Soundtraxx websites and it doesn't clearly state whether the sound version will also run on DC, and if so, what limited sound functions it may have. I know the DCC-Onboard version will also run on DC, but what about the sound equipped versions?

It will run also, but I don't believe you can control the sounds.

Excellent PDF, thanks for the link.   I haven't invested in DCC yet but this helps me understand it a bit.   I think I may be looking for a programmer to set my locos up though.

Somewhere in the cobwebs of my mind I thought that there might be no DC functionality with the micro-Tsunami just because it is so small. Maybe I was thinking of a different system, or simply hallucinating!
