thought i'd pass on this link to a topic on the atlas forum regarding the rs3.

overwhelmingly positive comments regarding your efforts in this area. others who have dissed bachmann for many years are finally waking up to the improvements in quality we on this forum have known about for years.

When you get a good reply about a Bachmann unit on the Atlas forum you are doing good.  Most of the time it is all Bachmann is junk because I had a unit twenty years ago and it fell apart.  Many of its members feel that once a toy maker always a toy maker.

at one time i had felt that way too. i liked the original spectrums. but still felt they were inferior to my athearn's. it took a 10 year hiatus from HO and the purchase of a dcc equipped "gp50" for my son to open my eyes to the improvements made to the line over the years. others. it appears, are now having the epiphany.
