From observing earlier posts, generally a caption like "Question for the Bachmann" will generate an official Bachmann reply.  Concerning your earlier post on your Spectrum SD-45, I ordered one from TrainWorld OnLine recently and it would not run at all.  I returned it the same day received to Train World and they gave me credit to upgrade to a competitor's diesel.  I have ordered from Train World for years and am completely satisfied with their price and service.  Of course if your SD-45 is under a year old, return it to Bachmann for repair or replacement under warranty.  From observing the latest Bachmann catalog, I suspect that they are no longer manufacturing the Spectrum SD-45, due to decrease in road names.
