If you  may want to pull up and move the track later, try double-faced tape.

Use a 'Hot Glue' gun. If you want ot move track later it will peel off if you are careful.

Some use a latex sealant, same idea just more material.

I've used just a dab of hot glue.  You can easily take track up and remove glue with a razor blade.
