DCC Controllers

My Grandson and I run some "O" Guage stuff and just now getting into On30. Will a MTH DCS Controller work on Dcc or is that a completely different animal all together. I was hoping to be able to run the Climax and any other On30 stuff we get w MTH Controller. I have found that the MTH controllers are less forgiving especially with the viewable window to tell you what is going on with the layout.  Once again thank you folks from a newby here..................................................Brandy

     In the world of DCC,  throttles are not transferable between systems.   NCE throttles only work on NCE systems,  Digitrax throttles only work on Digitrax systems,  etc.   Will your MTH contoller run things?   I can only assume that it may if attached to an MTH system.   Not sure if this is a help.
