Dear Bachmann,

I was wondering, what type of painting method do you use for your models such as air brush, dipping ext and what type of paint do you use such ass glose, ext.

the Bach-man

Dear Raz,
They are spray painted and pad printed. The finish depends on the specific model.

Probably a silly question - could samples of the paint used, be made available?

I have in mind for a future comparison video, preparing a "customized" version of one of the Bachmann models, and knowing what specific paint to use (if it is available of course) would help give a decent finish.

Dear SAC,
The paints are mixed at the factory, and are unavailable here. When I really need a perfect match I have paint mixed at a local auto parts store.
Have fun!

i wouldnt use sharpie shining time, only because in the right light, or if there is a glare where you colored it it will look purple :-\
