HO SD-45 how to remove hood from frame

I tried to lift the hood off the frame, but it would not budge. Any trick?
I seem to need to lift it off if I want to install the headlight.

First remove the couplers. Then remove the fuel tank. It might be held on by two screws. Newer models don't have the screws but tabs holding it on. Once the tank is removed you will see the screws that hold on the shell.
