Length of big haulers

Hi, I need to make something for metal work and I thought I could make a carry box for the rolling stock in mountaineer set (which I plan to buy when I have saved enough money). As I don't own the set yet, I would like to know the length of the loco + tender and also the length of a coach (I assume the two coaches are the same length). Thanks

You'll need 56cm to have room to be sure and not squish the couplers on the coach; and 79cm for the locomotive with tender.

Didn't ask about width and height, but you will want to pay attention to those as well, 14cm for width, and allow 17cm height to clear whistle on locomotive.

Thanks for that, didnt even cross my mind to check the height! glad I didnt go with my original plans of 150mm height!
