It is possible that Bachmann may release a muti-engine set. i think they have a Jr. set out with a small diesel and a small steamer and that sells for a reasonable price. If they can do it with Jr., why not Thomas?

MetaDude27

What exactly is Bachmann Jr.? I haven't seen it under their product information.

It is on the UK website. Not an American line.

Ah, I see. Never mind, then.

The only reason that set has two engines, I recall, is because it's DCC. DCC sets typically have two engines.

My set ideas:

Slippy sodor set(Thomas with a silly funnel & Bubble liquid tanker)
Tickled pink set(Pink James,Red branch line coaches)

How about a set that just comes with engines and or trucks like Trackmaster? Like you can the oil tank, tar tank, and fuel tank all in one box. Or something like Christmas Thomas with Christmas trucks in a box. Just for the record I think Bachmann should sell the Christmas set seperatley instead of buying one big set.

BillingsRR

I would say for a set Edward and some Cattle Cars and then a Brakevan.  Not sure what to call it yet.

I think Bachmann should make HO scale snowplows like they did for the LS range. And maybe make like a 2 pack of snow plows or something.

Taking the DCC idea further...

Thomas & Percy DCC Starter Set

"Launch your child straight into the world of Digital Command Control! This special set includes a chipped Thomas & a chipped Percy. Watch as your child is able to control both engines separately whilst both are on the same track."

Would contain:

*DCC Chipped Thomas
*DCC Chipped Percy
*Annie
*Clarabel
*Truck 1
*Truck 2
*Sodor Caboose/Brake Van
*Oval of track with one siding
*Special Thomas version of the E-Z Command controller.

Going by current value, I'd say $200 R.R.P wouldn't be a bad price, considering what you get in the set itself.

Thats a good one, would be better for really big HO modelers who use DCC if or when they have kids.
