Will it be as big and popular as HO products?
Or will it be discontinued in a year or so like Lionel models?

I highly doubt it will be discontinued. It is growing in popularity everyday.

I agree with BillingsRR it is more popular than you think. And I actually have a good buisness plan for the LS range. I think if there are die-heart Duck fan or Oliver fan they should make them fo LS then they will convert to LS then bachmann should release it for HO so they can convert back.
