Is the catenary functional or can it be easily modified to function, on the 93941 Christmas Street Car?

Dear The,
Catenary is the overhead wire system. The trolley pole on the streetcars is not wired, but, with work, probably  could be.
Have fun!

Join this Yahoo Group, and ask there, people there have the knowledge and how-to.
I know that first-hand, I did ask, although have not actually done the job yet.

First thing is to replace white metal shoe on end of pole with brass (or other metal) part. Are shoes and wheels available, assembled or kit. Are different poles available too.

Are wire and wire frogs to build your own overhead catenary too.
Am ready to do my own when wire arrives from California.
