DCC for model #11301 4-8-4 SP Daylight, No. 4449?

Just purchased a 4-8-4 SP Daylight, No. 4449, model number 11301.  Can this older model be upgraded to DCC?  If so, which decoder would someone recommend?

I don't think it is worth it because if you did convert it, then it would be best to wire the tender for pick-up because DCC locos usually are more sensitive and could use the extra pick-up. It would have been better to buy a 4-8-4 with DCC already installed from the factory because the newer version also runs a heck of a lot better than the old version. From online retailers, you can buy a Daylight with DCC for about $75 or so.
