GP40 Decoder Upgrade

I have a GP40 diesel item #60348 that's DCC equipped.  Trying to upgrade from factory decoder to one that has CV5, CV6 and programmable speed table, like NCE's BACH-DSL:

The BACH-DSL is $20.  Is there a decoder similar to this one that would work as a replacement for the factory decoder?

I thought that was a replacement for the Bachmann decoder Did you read the manual?

I did a Google search for bach-dsl replacement decoders and everything points to this decoder as a replacement for the Bachmann diesel decoder. It cannot be any clearer from what I can see. Many sell these decoders on line.

If Bachmann sells one, it is well hdden.
