taking shell off Dash 8

I decided to try and looked in the casing for the instructions... but there was none... can anyone explain how i remove the shell? i gotta check the decoder to see if its unplugged or fried. (will change the title and post again if there's another problem)

Remove the couplers.
Take screws out and remove the fuel tank.
You will see the screws holding the shell on.
