can i take a dc 4-8-4 J and convert it to dcc with sound

my wife got me a dc 4-8-4 J for Christmas and would like to upgrade to the DCC decoder later cause of the sound and easy control. I'm alittle new to the DCC systems, just still in the building phase right now. so any info will help later on.
