Headlight replacement

I have a Shay and a Porter that the headlights don't work.  I need help in how to change them without damaging the housings.

Not sure about the shay but the old style "big hauler" head light snaps in unsnap the smoke box front reach in and push the tabs together slightly then pull it up and off.

Note look under the front of the smoke box and you will see a square hole at the front of that hole you will see the tab for the smoke box front if you need to bend a piece of coat hanger or other tool to push up on the tab to release it, usualy you can unsnap them with out doing this but better safe then sorry
