Possible broken flang on UP 4-8-4 Northern type steam

Hello! Just got a beautiful UP 4-8-4 Stream at a train show.. ran ... sluggish... but by 3rd time around track, cleaned wheels, then it stopped!  Found first pair of the '8' seemed to separate from the flange.  Now the arms are not in line... Anyone know how I can fix this???  Thanks!!!

It sounds from here like the driver centers came loose from the tires (the flanged portion) and got out of quarter.  You don't say what the manufacturer of the model is, but if it is a Bachmann model you might be able to obtain a replacement driver set by contacting the service department.
