i need new layout advice

its been a long time since i did this, i jus finished the plywood and 2x4 frame, doing a train and xmass tree on it this yr, i jus bought a roll of grass mat to start, my question is whats the best way to put the grass mat on, it will be permanent, is there a glue  or paint maybe   thanks

Construction adhesive and caulk in tubes are outstanding for this usage.  You can spread the adhesive with a broad knife or roller, or put the grass mat down and use the roller after.  Just be sure to get your adhesive all of the way to the edges and use only plastic-compatible materials.

Personally I just unrolled the mat letting hang over the sides and stapled it to the wood frame underneath.  Don't try to get out all the wrinkles the real world is never completly flat and you'll rip the mat trying.
