how to find out value of a particular product

I have a Bachman Norfolk & Western Class J.  The model # on the engine is 600.  The item # on the side of the box is 41-0658-A4.  I can find 610, 608 ect but not a 600.  Does anyone know the approximate value or the year of this model?  Thanks, vicky

It is not worth more than $50 if it does not have DCC. If it has DCC, it would not fetch more than $75. My guess would be yours is valued around $40 by most people.
