     Thanks for the infor on RS3 and Climax.

      Now the question.

Will the drop in decoder MRC  1829   or 1820  fit the rs?

i don't know about those decoders.

i do know the mrc sound decoder they market for the s2/s4 is of an alco 244 prime mover instead of the appropriate alco 539. and it is one of the best sound chips for an rs3 i've heard so far.
