DCC Turnouts - Update & Questions

i have a quick question: could i use regular bachmann E-Z switches (using them on a DC controler to operate them) if my layout is DCC or do i have to use DCC switches?

You certainly can.  I plan on installing a few next week after I test and in some cases pre wire them. 

My layout is coming down temporarily next week so the room it is in can be carpeted.  I'm using the break to replace the poorly functioning turnouts with new ones and to finally retire the last of the toy train steel track and replace it with nickle silver
