Dear Rich,

Thanks for the heads up.

I referenced the mrmag index in 8 Bachmann board replies over the last 3 years.   

It was one of my most valued resources.  It will be missed.

It looks like some Kalmbach mags back to 1986 will be covered by the individual magazine's website.

I hope Kalmbach can make it a project to go further back as time goes on.   

There were competitor's magazines, and many other publications, including model train books and layout books (Armstrong, et al) indexed, that could be lost.   

The amount of searchable info was staggering.

The "train hobbyist" really put his heart into the program and keeping the database updated.

This issue is being addressed by some people.

I have been watching the discussion in another forum aand it is not Kalmbach.
