shell removal

I am trying to change out decoders on a new gp7 but cannot seem to get the body off.  I removed the two couplers; is the a screw holding the body on that i am missing.  thanks in advance  brian chaney

Yeah try under the cover in the center of the loco, there should be 2 screws.
Here is a link to the exploded parts diagram for future reference: http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/dwgs/H624X-EXPLODEDVIEW.pdf The part is labeled 00F01, remove screw 10632. The couplers screws have nothing to do with shell removal, it is only to replace the couplers.

Thank you i got the shell off and replaced the decoder.  It works much better than the bachmann.  I used a digitrax 123   Thanks Brian
