K27 Counterweights

I know the original models produced in the 2008 had loose counterweight problems.  Was this addressed in the production of current models or is there still a need for shims?

Dear colbd,
All K-27s shipped since the first batch have the new counterweights. If, by chance, you get a first-run unit from a dealer we have replacement weights available.
