E-Z Command's AC power supply same as DC power pack's?

Hi,
I was wondering if the AC power supply to the E-Z Command system was the same one as the AC power supply to the standard DC 16V power packs. They appear to be, judging from the manufacturer's photos, but I wanted to ask to be sure. Is this correct?

I switched them and they work interchangeably, and externally they are the same.

I have both they seem to be the same per the specs my EZ command came with a grey output cord, the one for my kids came with a black cord I could find no other differance.
