Dynamis command

My Dynamis command unit will not light up when power is plug into it but the controller works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Am I right in thinking that the walk around controller works on batteries while the main unit must be plugged in?  Some possible problems (other than a bad unit) could include:
dead outlet - try another different 120 volt item in the outlet and see if it works.
dead bulb/LED - is there voltage on the track when there should be, even in the light does not work?  Test with a gain of wheat bulb.
Dead wall wart power supply - check output using the grain of wheat bulb.
