Lenz decoder

this was my second venture in DCc land. My first one was a CC ready Bachmann Northern 4-8-4. For the Decapod I got a Lenz decoder without much thought bout sound. The instruction sheed mentions a sound card but I need a S.U.S.I. interface and I must admit ignorance as to what that means. Thanks in advance

The S.U.S.I. interface allows a decoder and a sound card to play nice together.  Lenz Gold decoders already have the S.U.S.I. interface built in (along with a number of other goodies.)  If this is the Lenz decoder you purchased, then you are in luck.
