Hello,
I just recive my new IHC 2-10-2 DCC ready with 8 pins plug can i directly install an bachmann 8 pins plug decoder on it. (i used an bachman easy control)

You most certainly can......just make sure that the orange wire(pin) of the Bachmann decoder is aligned with the #1 spot on the 8 pin socket.
If you look closely, most sockets have #1 labeled or distinguished in some manner.

There may be a jumper plug over the socket or just 2 small jumper pins....remove these first, then plug in decoder. Go slowly....a bent or broken pin equals a ruined decoder.

Why would you want to install a decoder into a 2-10-2 ??

It already comes with one installed programmed to a short address of 3

Because it's an IHC 2-10-2 generic, not a Spectrum USRA light 2-10-2 or a Proto USRA heavy 2-10-2.
