turnout switches

I would like to purchase several turnout switches that come with the #5 and #6 tracks  instead of the push and click switches.(Sorry about the terminology) Is this possible. thanks

Are you saying that you want manual #5 and #6 turnouts? If that is the case you can buy the DCC turnouts which also can be used as manual turnouts provided you have a DCC layout. No #5 and #6 turnouts are just manual so you would be paying more for either the decoder equipped turnouts, as I don't believe the standard analog turnouts have a switch for manual use.

If you mean can you manually switch the turnouts the answer is yes.

Besides the electrical switch that comes with the turnout there is a slide switch mounted on the roadbed that also activates the switches.

If you wanted to use other switch machines I do not know if they would mate with the turnouts. But you have a choice of the remote or the manual operation.
