DCC Dynamis Controller

I bought myself a Dynamis By bachmann and i have a dcc equipped loco and its never been ran before (straight out of the box) and i want to know if the #0003 (factory installed in the decoder i think) would work with it then?

What does the locomotive manual say?  If it came without a manual, why not try it and find out?  But keep in mind that #0003 (long address) and #03 (short address) are two different addresses.  Normal practice is to program factory installed decoders either to #03  or  to the cab number.
