F7s will not switch!

I don't know about you, but i rarely switched cars of any kind with a F unit. This is due to the fact that it seems i have bad luck. This varies to failed switches, unknown derailments on perfect track, uncouples, etc. I have only done this with ho scale, but, im wondering has this happened to anyone else(any scale/gauge)?

I can not see any reason why you can't switche cars with a F unit. Now if you have truck mounted couplers on the egine, this might be a problem.  What kind of couplers do you have?
