N-scale SD-45 item no. 82760

Hello from the Netherlands and a Happy New Year!

I purchased the above mentioned Bachmann train. It is not running, only the LED lights are illuminating. According the description the dummy power pack is perhaps not connected.

The problem I have is that the exploded view drawing does not help me to understand how to get access to the power pack. I tried many things already but no result.

What is the right sequence and order to open the SD-45 N-scale model to get access to the power pack and to install a DCC decoder?
