Mogul -how to remove the stack

Hi,guys - I've searched but have been unable to find info on removing the stack on a 2-6-0 .The On30 annuals have articles on changing the stack,but don't specify popping off or cutting or ?? Wasn't a problem until I was given a beautiful brass bridge - the Mogul is the only loco that won't fit.......any ideas??? I forgot to mention - the bridge is HO so height is a problem for the stack...sorry.

The stack is a very tight press fit, it may also have a little glue inside the boiler.

Pull straight up and wiggle in a circular motion, it will eventually come off.
