2-6-0- Mogul motor removal

I have G scale Spectrum Mogul that probably has a motor/gear problem.  How do I get at the motor assembly to inspect and possibly remove it for repair?

on the 2-6-0 you remove the screws from the bottom cover to expose the motor and gears.
