Question - Please help......

Can someone tell me if the "auto-reversing" track (44548 & 44549) is compatible with regular EZ track pieces.

The auto-reversing track differs from regular track by having extra wiring underneath to make the auto-reversing circuit work.  Therefore you cannot use regular track in place of auto-reversing track unless you add extra wiring under the track or under the table.  But you can use auto-reversing track in place of regular track.
