MY SISTER-IN-LAW JUST PURCHASED THE DELUXE THOMAS' FUN WITH FREIGHT SET HO SCALE ELECTRIC TRAIN FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD SON.

AFTER TWO WEEKS PLAYING WITH IT I WAS LOOKING AT BOX THAT IT CAME IN WHICH STATES "WARNING THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS A CHEMICAL KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CASUE CANCER, BIRTH DEFECTS OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM MADE IN CHINA"

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, THAT KIDS SHOULD NOT BE PLAYING WITH THIS SET.

CURRENTLY I AM A CONFUSED AND WORRIED PARENT WANTING TO KNOW IF THIS IS THE CASE WHY WOULD THIS BE SOLD IN THE US.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY HELPFUL IN FORMATION PLEASE RESPOND BACK.

Your son will be fine. Just don't let him put it in his mouth. The sets were designed for kids 8+. I've been collecting these products since I was 6 or 7. As said, he will be fine.

No, the models are manufactured in China and then shipped here, each is hand painted. Just dont let your son or anyone else eat parts of the train set or put it in their mouths.If he keeps it away from his mouth he will be fine. And those numbers are very small and there have been no reported cases of health issues due to BACHMANN Thomas models or any other BACHMANN model.
