track compatibility

will Bachmann large scale (g) work with other brands of track?  Will the rail joiners mate with lgb, aristocraft and others?

RRsales, simple answer, NO. Bachmann track won't mate without a great deal mods. It's also meant for indoor use only, where as the others are outdoor track

Dear RRS,

Bachmann (indoor) G track will mate with other brands of solid track if you remove the black blade from its end, and provide a means to hold the different track sections together, such as 2 rubber bands or a tie wrap around the end ties.

A little bit of work, but definitely doable.
